This Privacy Notice explains how Loxar (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our app. Loxar is designed as a local anniversary and countdown tool that helps you manage important dates, reminders, and related content. Where possible, your information is stored on your device, and you remain in control of your data.
By using the app, you may provide content such as date entries, notes, reminder settings, and optional photos. We also may process limited technical information needed to keep the app functioning properly, improve reliability, and support troubleshooting. We do not sell user data.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, and export your personal information, as well as withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also request information about how your data is used.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the app, our practices, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will revise the effective date above and may provide additional notice within the app or through another appropriate communication method.
Your continued use of Loxar after an update becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised Privacy Notice.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data.
We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party.
We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may use limited third-party infrastructure providers only for cloud storage, server hosting, or basic operational infrastructure. Any such provider acts solely on our behalf and only under our instructions. They are bound by contractual obligations to protect data security and are not permitted to use user data for any purpose other than what we instruct.
These third parties are not allowed to use data for advertising, profiling, AI training, model optimization, their own business purposes, redistribution, or independent access to user content.
Information you provide: You may enter anniversary names, dates, notes, reminder preferences, display preferences, and optional cover photos. If you contact us for support, you may also provide your email address and the contents of your message.
Automatically collected information: We may collect limited device and usage information such as app version, operating system version, crash logs, performance data, and diagnostic information needed to keep the app stable and secure.
Cookies and similar technologies: The app is primarily a native mobile application and does not rely on browser cookies in the traditional sense. If any analytics or infrastructure tools use similar local identifiers or technical tokens, they are used only for app functionality, security, or reliability purposes.
We do not use third-party AI services to process user data. Any AI-assisted processing, if applicable, is performed exclusively on our own internal servers and only for the specific purpose of providing or improving app features.
User content sent for processing is handled temporarily and is deleted after completion of the relevant task, unless a longer retention period is required for the user-facing history the app is designed to keep. We do not use user data for AI training, model fine-tuning, or model optimization.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include access controls, secure storage practices, encryption in transit where applicable, and restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis.
No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and operating system, including using device passcodes and keeping your software up to date.
Depending on where you are located and where our infrastructure providers operate, information may be processed or stored in countries or regions different from your own. When this occurs, we take steps designed to protect your information and ensure it is handled in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law.
Loxar does not perform facial recognition, biometric analysis, or create face templates. The app is not designed to identify or verify a person’s identity using facial or biometric data.
If a user selects a photo as a cover image, that image is used only as chosen by the user for display or related app functionality. Any temporary processing associated with app features is deleted after completion and is not used to build biometric profiles.
We use information to provide the app’s core functions, such as creating anniversary records, displaying countdowns, showing reminders, syncing or storing content where applicable, and improving reliability and performance.
We do NOT use your information for advertising, marketing profiling, cross-app tracking for ads, selling, or sharing user content. We do NOT use user data for AI training, model optimization, or independent third-party purposes.
We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the app and the requested features.
You may delete your local records at any time through the app, subject to the limitations of your device’s storage and any backups you control.
Loxar is intended for users who are 17 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child under 17 has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Loxar, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice and agree to the collection, use, and handling of information as described here. If you do not agree with this Privacy Notice, you should discontinue use of the app.
